Let's be honest, even though the lights are finally off, we still grab our phones and check our phones for notifications. If you continue on doing this, you expose your brain to artificial lights that suppresses the production of melatonin.

Experts says that people with low melatonin are prone to cancer and other illness because melatonin shields our cells from being damaged.

For you to avoid melatonin suppression, you must prevent using gadgets before sleeping. Just turn it off hours before you sleep. Most especially make sure that your body is able to get the sunlight that it usually need, so don't turn your night time into day time and day time into night time.
